After almost 50 years, the Hilton remains one of Sydney’s most iconic hotels. The recent upgrades—more evolutionary than revolutionary—introduce exciting diversity to the room offerings while preserving the hotel’s celebrated charm. The renowned Marble Bar, known for its rich history, artistic beauty, and architectural grandeur, continues to be a standout feature.

Alland played a pivotal role in this extensive transformation, which included:

• Upgrading and refurbishing 480 guest rooms

• Revitalising guest corridors

• Enhancing the ground floor, including the Reception, Café Cino, and Lobby

• Converting meeting rooms into a stunning Executive Lounge

• Restoring and updating the lighting in the Marble Bar and Lounge

Working to a demanding timeline, our scope encompassed custom fixtures, specialist lighting, power distribution upgrades, cable containment, general and emergency lighting, and advanced lighting control systems. We also integrated blind and load control systems, communication cabling, wireless access points, and MATV systems to elevate functionality and the overall guest experience.

This project required innovation, intelligent design solutions, and the expert craftsmanship of Alland Group’s skilled electrical technicians. Thanks to our deep knowledge of the building and extensive experience, we delivered the project seamlessly—without disrupting guests, staff, or hotel operations.
