The University of Sydney can boast their Business School, founded in 1920, was the first of its kind, providing students with the opportunity to study various degrees in Business and Economics.  

Alland Group’s expertise in Fit Out and Refurbishment was enlisted by Hansen Yuncken to provide a spectacular renovation across multiple floors of the School’s Codrington Building. 

The result is a stunning revitalisation of existing floor layouts, bringing state of the art facilities to staff and Business School faculty. This included office spaces, meeting rooms, a kitchen area and multiple break out zones. 

The scope of works was extensive: 

• New Distribution Boards to service Level 2 spaces 
• New LED lighting throughout L2, L4 and L5 including architectural feature lighting throughout the floors and the main entry lobby area 
• New C-Bus lighting control system for dynamic lighting control with dimming, motion/presence detection and BMS connectivity 
• New cable containment systems across exposed ceiling areas to provide functional and aesthetically pleasing infrastructure 
• New power systems across the floors to support new design elements such as workstations, kitchen, breakout areas and meeting rooms
