Even though the University of Sydney’s Dental School has been training dental professionals for over 100 years, its new Dental Simulation Centre has taken this education to a whole new level.

As one of Australia’s leading further education providers, USYD continues its tradition of excellence within its Dental School by offering a state of the art dental simulation suite for a hands on, immersive learning environment for students, together with upskilling for existing industry clinicians.

Alland Group was engaged by Hansen Yuncken to provide a high end Electrical Services Package for all power, lighting, and data installations within the new facility at the University’s Bligh Building in Newtown.

Works included:

• New Distribution Board
• New LED Lighting throughout
• New Dynalite intelligent lighting control system with BMS connectivity for air conditioning systems control
• Dedicated power systems for specialty equipment plant room for all simulator functionalities
• Certified Panduit Communications system including Backbone cabling and Infrastructure for CCTV systems and Audio Visual system
