Merrylands Town Centre has undergone a stunning transformation, creating a vibrant multi-use outdoor public space for residents and visitors.
Alland Group’s scope included the installation of a new switchboard together with comprehensive lighting, power, and infrastructure across the site.
The redesigned space also features modern amenities, including seating containing integrated wireless charging pads, GPOs and USB ports, and the addition of eBins.
Formally known as North Sydney Plaza, the upgrade of Brett Whiteley Place is part of North Sydney Council’s efforts to improve and revitalise the City Centre. Upgrades to Boronia Park, including improved pathways, playing surfaces, seating, playground extension and picnic areas have recently been completed and Alland Group were again happy to work with Glascott Landscape & Civil to complete the project.
The work involved the construction of new pedestrian path lighting and associated electrical work, new reinforced concrete pedestrian paths together with a new electric BBQ, play equipment upgrade, landscaping, park furniture and associated works.
The upgraded areas feature coloured concrete pavement and brick paving, New electric BBQ, bubblers and taps, Park Furniture, a new picnic area, upgraded play equipment and new playground.
Alland Group has partnered with Glascott Landscape & Civil to refurbish Loyalty Square in Balmain, installing new uplighting to the memorial, flagpoles, bollards and trees to enhance the area and provide another iconic open space for the people of Leichhardt.
