Technology has come a long way since the building at 75 Castlereagh Street was constructed in 1986, so with current requirements and the future in mind, a significant upgrade of electrical services was undertaken.
Alland Group were delighted to once again partner with JLL to carry out a significant Design & Construct project across eleven floors of retail and commercial spaces. Understandably, one of the crucial requirements for these works was to keep the building operational at all times.
Alland were engaged by Built to complete a challenging refurbishment of this 54-year-old building that included a complex demolition of the concrete encased steel beam’s structure to allow for the modern transformation.
Typical of this period was the use of MIMS – Mineral Insulated Metal Sheath cable, commonly known as Pyrotenax cable, and was utilised for most electrical elements. This aspect called for a more technical and calculated approach, given the scope involved replacement of the Main Switch Board, common area/ house switchboards, LED lighting upgrades and new infrastructure, all while the building remained a live tenanted site.

Alland Group were engaged by Built to complete a refurbishment of the Grant Samuel offices across two levels in Governor Macquarie Tower.
The works involved the complete fit out of all electrical services to their offices on Level 19 and 20 and consisted of a state of the art Multi-purpose conference room complete with LED linear lighting, a Dynalite Control system integrated with an AV system to control lighting scenes, projector and blinds, as well as wireless access points and a kitchenette.

Alland Group has recently completed an exciting refurbishment and commercial fit out at 300 Parramatta Road Auburn. The high profile site is now home to some of Australia’s retail giants, with BCF, Officeworks, Decathlon and RSEA just to name a few. As the premises was well over 20 years old, the logistical task of transforming it into the 21st Century posed many challenges. The end result speaks for itself with a completely overhauled infrastructure and state of the art LED lighting throughout, making this address one the most energy efficient on the Parramatta Road strip.
